Individualized Early Childhood Education

Bright Oak Preschool Academy embraces an emergent, project-based curriculum inspired by the highly acclaimed Reggio Emilia Approach®.

This approach to early childhood education is a way of observing what your child knows, what their individual interests are, and what challenges them in order to customize their early education journey – making the learning process more engaging and meaningful. We offer classroom activities and curriculum that ignite a love of learning and exploration in your child. Each class offers educational care specifically crafted to inspire imagination, spark curiosity, and encourage discovery through play and exploration. All activities put a primary focus on the development of your child’s social, sensory and motor skills.

01.Children + Their Peers

Children are central to the learning that takes place in the classroom. Together, they co-construct knowledge as they learn to work together with kindness and respect.

02.Adults (Teachers + Parents)

Teachers and parents are collaborators in the learning process as they facilitate, guide, observe, support and inspire children.

03.The Environment or "Third Teacher"

The environment acts as a “third teacher” – providing a safe, collaborative space where children are educated through research, exploration and discovery.
